Roles and Responsibilities
1.To support the Enhancement & development of business modeling tools to improve the business intelligence available to the UCC Services Practice.
2.Actively reviews data source quality, ensuring relevance, accuracy and integrity of the data
3.Provides support for the transition of new or any change in master lists (like product codes, management code) into the UCC QTB tools
4.To support the supplier catalogue management in Oracle.
5.Develops a comprehensive understanding of the core business process and systems impacting the ERS supply chain (eg. GOLD, Oracle, FLIP, ISTrack ) with the operation teams
6.Drives the collection and analysis of key data points within the supply chain for decisions critical to the ERS practice within the UCC Business Unit and for specific client projects.
7.Understands, articulates and reports monthly on the operational activities by developing new graphical reports using Oracle Apex and SQL for the ERS practice (working closely with IS Delivery team, Service Transition GPO and Product Managers)
8.Works with other business units (Finance, Sourcing, Global Supply Chain, IS Delivery) as required to improve financial data sources and improve the business relevance of standard reporting
9.Provides in depth analysis and project support to the Manager and the UCC Services Practice Financial Optimisation Expert to ensure the continual improvement of the Practice profitability and service performance
10.Undertakes specific projects to ensure the validity and integrity of financial data relating to the IS and ERS practice including any specific processes
11.Adhoc reporting relating to information required from QTB systems and tools
12.Ensures functional adherence to company policies, procedures and processes
13.UCC QTB point of contact for Equipment Resale commissions reporting
14.UCC QTB point of contact for inventory management
15.UCC QTB point of contact for supplier delivery delay claims
Desired Candidate Profile
Degree in business (or other relevant area).
Experience of working in a Project Team to be able to effectively support all assigned projects
3 + years in an international telecommunications environment, including experience on a Web based project
Experience in databases(Oracle/MySQL) and hands on preferably knowledge of programing languages (Python, HTML /,PHP, Java script, JSON, Jquery (1.10.1) , Visual Basic, XML)
Experience of high level design in a structured environment
Strong experience in data requirement gathering, data modelling, and creation of functional specifications
Good financial systems and supply chain experience is must
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Expert level MS office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
Knowledge of inventory management and warehousing best practices.
Expert knowledge of all aspects of the supply chain, including purchasing, supplier margins/ discounts, import/export and distribution, and pricing of standard Integration Services.
Expertise in SQL reporting and data warehousing
Expertise in Oracle APEX development
Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC
Experience of tool ownership, user requirements gathering through to testing, UAT and ongoing governance
Good understanding of tools (ISTrack, Gold, Oracle 19c and IMS etc.)
This position on third party payroll and renewable contract each year.
