Roles and Responsibilities

Analysis of monthly books (Tally/ ERP/ SAP) of a real estate construction company and identifying issues in the books and having the same rectified working with the project team.

Ability to validate and identify issues on vendor related payouts.

Extracting of data into spreadsheet and preparing monthly consolidation of accounts under Indian GAAP using analytical and excellent spreadsheet skills

Preparation of monthly Financial MIS

Preparation of Annual budgeting (Base Budgeting) and re- forecasting post updating actuals.

Analytical monthly variance reports comparing Budgets vs Actuals and apply analytical reasoning skills to identify reasons for variances

Knowledge of Taxation and statutory levies with specific accounting calculations.

Advanced Microsoft Excel user (candidates having knowledge of VBA applications, Power Query, BI -Business Intelligence and financial & data modelling would be added advantage), PowerPivot, Scenario Analysis, KPIs and dashboards.

Excellent working knowledge of SAP.

Excellent spreadsheet skills (working knowledge of Macros would have added advantage. Superior analytical skills practised at drilling down to transaction/ workflow details

Specialist in Data Analytics preferred but not essential


Desired Candidate Profile


Proven experience of working with voluminous data and on ground experience of finance and accounting

Designing and implementing reporting systems, front ends and dashboards using MS Excel, as well as complex data modeling for use in quantitative statistical analysis, often within these systems as well, or separately as ad hoc reports

Expert-level knowledge and experience with the advanced features of Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, macros, and other advanced features. Should be a self-starter, have passion to get things done, and strong articulation and reasoning skills with clarity of thought.

Should demonstrate timeliness, responsiveness and adherence to deadlines. Candidate should have complete Microsoft Excel system-lifecycle design & analysis,

project management, incl. business systems analysis, programming & macro automation

(preferred), pivot tables, lookups, external imports/exports.
